Descrivere un'abitazione, there is e there are

Per descrivere un luogo o una casa in inglese si usa There is/There are con il vocabolario riguardante gli ambienti della casa.

There is e There are significano "c'è" e "ci sono" e si usano per indicare cosa si trova in un luogo.

Nota Bene: Non esiste una forma contratta per There are.

Per indicare il luogo dove si trova qualcosa o qualcuno si utilizzano le preposizioni di luogo.

between - tra/fra	The mailbox is between the front door and the street.
in front of - davanti a	There is a restaurant in front of my house.

opposite - di fronte a	The living room is opposite the kitchen.
next to - di fianco a	I live next to the mall.
