El Past Simple se utiliza para hablar de acciones o eventos que ya han sucedido en el pasado. Puede ser en un pasado más cercano o más lejano.

Para hablar de una acción o varias acciones que ya han sucedido.
Para hablar sobre hábitos que solías hacer de forma repetitiva.
Para describir acontecimientos históricos o del pasado.
Info 2: Structure of the verbs in Past Simple
Para conjugar verbos regulares en Past Simple debes seguir estas estructuras:
Affirmative: Sujeto + verbo en presente + "-ed"
Negative: Sujeto + did + not + verbo en presente
Interrogative: Did + sujeto +verbo en presente+?
Recuerda que: En la forma negativa, puedes utilizar contracciones cuando hables en estilo informal. Es decir, unirdid + noten una sola palabra =didn't
