El Present Continuous se utiliza para indicar una acción o situación que está sucediendo en este justo momento y que puede extenderse en el futuro.

Info 1: When to use Present Continuous

El Present Continuous se utiliza para:

Hablar de acciones que ocurren en el mismo momento en el que hablas.
Indicar situaciones que ocurren con frecuencia.
Describir hechos o acciones momentáneas.
Expresar con certeza eventos del futuro.

Para conjugar verbos en Present Continuous de manera afirmativa, tienes que seguir la estructura:

Sujeto + verbo To Be + verbo en gerundio + complemento

Para conjugar verbos en Present Continuous de manera negativa, tienes que seguir la estructura:

Sujeto + verbo To Be + not + verbo en gerundio + complemento

Para conjugar verbos en Present Continuous de manera interrogativa, tienes que seguir la estructura:

Exceptions

Para formar el gerundio, hay algunos verbos que no son regulares. Por ejemplo:

A los verbos que acaban en consonante, se les duplica la última letra y se añade "-ing":
