Info 1: „will-future”
Bildung
Das „will-future“ wird gebildet, indem man „will“ und die Grundform des Verbs (also den Infinitiv ohne „to“) zusammensetzt.

Vor allem im gesprochenen Englisch wird „will“ oft zu „‘ll“ abgekürzt, wobei „it will“ (ausser bei sehr informeller Umgangssprache) nicht zu „it’ll“ abgekürzt werden sollte.

Verwendung
I’ll probably spend a year or so in Berlin or Vienna.
I think he’llbe the next prime minister.
This problem will resolve itself in a few days.
·Schnelle oder unmittelbare Entscheidungen
I’llhave the shepherd’s pie and a large beer.
I’ll answer the phone, you don’t have to get up.
The store was out of bread, I’llget some tomorrow.
·Versprechen oder Zusagen
I will tell them everything you said, don’t worry!
I’ll take good care of your cat, I promise.
I’ll come to your party, thank you for inviting me.
·Angebote oder Vorschläge
If you like, I’ll help you move into your new apartment.
I’ll carry your grocery bags if you like.
If you’re scared about it, I will call the police for you.
·Zukünftige Fakten
He’ll leave for the interview at four o’clock.
I will go to bed early tonight.
Next year, we will offer more courses.
Info 2: „going-to-future”
Bildung
Das „going-to-future“ wird gebildet, indem man das Hilfsverb „to be“ konjugiert und dann mit „going to“ und der Grundform des Verbs (Infinitiv ohne „to“) zusammenfügt.

Verwendung
The sun is coming out, I think it’s going to be a nice day!
He’s going to be really happy when I tell him the good news later.
They’re going to have an amazing time on their honeymoon.
·Absichten und konkrete Pläne
I’m going to study in London for a semester.
I’m going to send my application tomorrow morning.
She’s going to meet me in ten minutes at the coffee shop.
